Toffee vodka is so easy to make at home with this two ingredient, one step recipe, and a little time. There really is nothing to it. You just add your toffees to the vodka, shake them up and leave them to infuse. Let time do the rest. Your toffee vodka liqueur will keep for up to a year in a cool dark place, but I bet it doesn’t last that long! When storing the liqueur may separate so just give it a good shake before using. How to serve toffee vodka Yes, it does taste a bit like the infamous Baileys liqueur but it is MUCH stronger. Do remember that this is vodka and toffees with nothing else in there to dilute the alcohol.
Store at room temperature, in the fridge or, my favourite, in the freezer. It will not freeze but is delicious served wonderfully cold. You can serve it straight or over ice. Add your vodka to a mason jar. It's important to have some kind of sealable container that your vodka fits in. A mason jar is ideal, but any kind of sealable container will do. A long time ago, before toffee was made with dairy, it was made by caramelising sugar: this traditional route is the one we opted for when making our old fashioned toffee liqueur. Kin's Toffee Vodka liqueur is created in the heart of the English Lake District (at Newby Bridge to be precise) in small batches. It's inspired by the local surroundings and a passion for the great outdoors, and if you don't know what that means, you've obviously never supped it after a day's fell walking, felt the golden liquid warm you from the inside after a cold day out in The Lakes, or sipped a caramel laced hot chocolate around a campfire.
