About this deal
So Ed starts running. He's not sure why. It's not a conscious decision. And he's never done it before. He just needs to run. With a crew of four others, Ed begins making his way south through a devastated post-apocalyptic landscape. My job grated my very core. My marriage gave me vertigo. And my kids… Well, I wasn’t what you’d call the most engaged father. I went through the motions all right, but let’s just say there are lots of urgent things you can find to do around the home and it’s amazing how long it can take sometimes to put out the bins. Asteroids are striking Earth, the end of the world is near, and Edgar Hill is on the wrong side of the country.

When two of the men betray them and abscond with their only vehicle, Ed decides to make the last several hundred miles by running.
