About this deal
Here at HappySelf we are committed to being as eco-friendly as possible, and it is important to us that we use sustainable, recyclable materials where we can. We review this with our production partners regularly.
Our journals bring positive psychology and proven happiness habits into a beautifully illustrated child friendly journal format. Beautifully illustrated and easy to use, with just a few minutes each day, children benefit by being encouraged to express gratitude, reflect on their emotions and think about their actions. We highly recommend you fill out the journal with your child, even acting as scribe if your child is tired or dislikes writing, so that the emphasis can be on the conversation and reflection rather than the act of writing. There is no better time than these early years to lay the foundations for happiness by exploring the positive habits that will help your child for years to come. Three months is an ideal length as it's similar to a school term and so feels achievable for the children to establish their new daily journaling habit. When testing the kids preferred this length and a longer book would have been too bulky or heavy for small hands.
The result is a really simple daily journal that can be completed in less than a few minutes. It is beautifully illustrated and with plenty of variety to keep kids engaged, all the while developing important habits that will set them up for life. I’ve also started a podcast called The Curious Parent to explore the wider topic of the skills children need these days to be world-ready. And over on the blog I write about our own experiences and experiments when it comes to raising our world-ready kids. These were the answers I found to the issues facing my kids and many like them. I’m confident they will help your kids’ too.
What's Inside??
Plenty of space for different handwriting styles and enough space to draw for those children who prefer to draw their answers This brings you all the goodness of our Junior edition adapted for you to enjoy with the 3 to 6 year old in your life. I hope this journal becomes a beautiful way of exploring feelings, memories, kindness and gratitude as well as capturing what life is like for you and your child at this moment in time.”
