The proprietary software features two different print modes, the fast print mode and the full configuration one. The second mode gives you more control over the printing settings but also requires a deeper knowledge of printing materials, profiles, and more. Cura now contains standard profiles for many 3D printers from various manufacturers. These profiles are a very good starting point for most printers. Another new addition to the Creality Ender 5 Pro 3D Printer is a highly durable metal extruder frame. This feature provides stronger pressure while pushing filament through the 3D Printer's nozzle, which the manufacturer claims will bolster the overall printing performance. This upgraded metal extruder kit comes equipped with an adjustable bolt so that users can tweak the pressure of the extruder gear to best fit whichever filament is selected.
After the cube has finished printing, measure each dimension. Filament Support and Software

The print bed on the CR-10 Smart Pro is a PEI spring steel sheet that is attached magnetically to the printer. Of the bed materials we've tested, PEI is one of our favorites. It offers plenty of adhesion during printing but also makes it easy to remove the print once it's complete. In terms of bed leveling, an included CR-Touch sensor enables automatic bed leveling, which is a feature that definitely improves the reliability of the printer and simplifies bed leveling. Extruder Arm: this support structure allows reducing the weight of the direct extruder on the moving parts by shortening the Bowden extruder.

So it is important to set the right temperature for your filament. There are guide values for the various filaments and the manufacturers also specify suitable temperatures for their filaments. Updated mainboard - includes modern features like silent motor drivers and power outage recovery, which were not present on the original Ender 3 Both come with well-guided instructions and it’s a case of attaching the gantry and plugging in a few cables. The Ender 5 Pro is arguably a tad more challenging due to the design of the printer, but we’re talking an extra few minutes for most people so hardly a major difference.
