The Curse of Peladon‘ might be studio based but it is a great story with a wonderful mix of characters. Alpha Centauri is hilariously bizarre and it’s great to see the Ice Warriors in colour for the first time. With some further technical wizardry, this story has never looked better in terms of picture quality. My personal favourite story is ‘ The Sea Devils‘ which was In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, BBC Home Entertainment is set to release Doctor Who: Spearhead from Space on Blu-ray. Rebels from a future Earth conquered by the Daleks travel to the 20th Century to change the course of history. What was wrong with series 9? I didn’t find disappointing at all! Why is the “DVD Version” included as an “extra” on The Curse Of Peldadon? What’s different about the Blu-Ray version of the episodes on the disc vs. the original DVD release?Great comments on here. Remember these box sets are put together by people who genuinely love the series. It is disappointing that we haven’t heard anything about the next set . But we are all grateful for all the love put into these sets. I can understand Ian Levines frustration as he recently turned seventy, time maybe is running out for him to see all seasons out on box sets.Something I can relate to him and I am ten years younger than him. But hopefully good things are round the corner. No doubt something will jump out at us when we least expect it. They could announce the next set in September for November 20th? They may make it a bigger deal if it’s released closer to the 23rd November. Maybe a big relaunch, good way to do it focusing around that month. Then again is that too much in a short amount of time? 60th specials, collection set, 60th specials blu ray release, maybe an annimation?
