About this deal
What: Venchi’s Cremino range has long been one of its most popular and it’s easy to see why when you taste the eggs. An outer layer of gianduja - made with Piedmontese hazelnuts - surrounds an inner core of white chocolate and hazelnut paste. A unique Easter treat that anyone would be very happy to receive.
To cut the Easter egg in half, warm a large sharp knife under a hot water tap. Carefully dry it off, then very gently press it around the egg where the seam is. Keep slowly and gently working your way around the egg, re-warming the knife if needed, until the two halves separate
More tips for making the Chocolate Orange Easter Egg Cheesecake:
Yes, so it depends on the tin you use but I usually say a 6″ cheesecake is half the recipe, so maybe a 7″ tin would be good? Still perfectly edible, but not much of a brownie. Also, make sure you use dark chocolate ALWAYS and never use milk chocolate to make brownies – they won’t work! My brownies are really wet in the middle instead of being fudgy. What did I do?
No matter how old we get, there’s something about the joy of a chocolate Easter egg that fills us with glee. Whether it’s unwrapping the foil coating or discovering the hidden treats inside, our love for Easter eggs is as strong as when we were five years old. It’s rich, smooth in the mouth and leaves no bad aftertaste. Less sweet than Asda’s white chocolate jazzie egg, it’d make a nice gift even for an adult. Melt the 300g of chocolate orange in a bowl over a pan of gently simmering water, stirring gently or microwave in short bursts until fully melted – leave to cool slightly whilst doing the rest.
When they first come out of the oven, they’ll still be a little moist if you poke them with a skewer, but after allowing them to cool, they should be the perfect fudgy, consistency.
